South consults on illegal immigrants
THE Southern Province administration has said it is consulting with the ministry of Home Affairs on how best to deport illegal immigrants who have overstayed in prisons in the province. Southern Province Minister Elijah Muchima said in Livingstone that deporting illegal immigrants would help decongest prisons in the province.

DR Congo refugees relocation starts
THE Government, in conjunction with the United Nations High Commission for Refugees (UNHCR), has started transferring Congolese refugees from Mwange in Mporokoso to Meheba refugee settlement in North-Western Province. Rwanda wants its citizens home
THE RWANDAN government wants all its citizens hosted as refugees in Zambia to return to their home country before they cease to be refugees on December 31.
Rwandan minister of disaster management and refugee affairs Marcel Gatsinzi said yesterday when he paid a courtesy call on North-Western Province Minister Daniel Kalenga that he was in Zambia to ask his nationals to return home.
